NZGL’s microarray services are provided through Affymetrix GeneChip instruments at the University of Auckland's Centre for Genomics, Proteomics and Metabolomics and the Otago Genomics and Bioinformatics Facility at the University of Otago. They can perform analysis using any GeneChip cartridge microarray type.

POPULAR GENECHIP CARTRIDGE MICROARRAYS INCLUDE:

3’ IVT (in vitro transcription) arrays

for 3’-biased eukaryotic expression. For example: PrimeView, Mouse Genome 430, Rat Genome 230.

Whole transcript gene/exon arrays

for assessing expression over the entire length of the gene or exon. For example: Gene or Exon arrays for human, mouse, and rat species, and the Human Transcriptome Array 2.0.
